Location I:

Shift 1: Sunday-Tuesday, 7:00pm-7:00am & Wednesday, 7:00pm-1:00am

Location M:

Shift 1: Weekend - Part-time, 11:00pm-7:00am

Location O:

Shift B: Thursday-Monday, 8:00pm-4:00am

Shift F: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00pm-3:00am

Position Details
Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Over-night Dedicated Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the assigned location through vigilant surveillance and proactive intervention. Especially maintaining access control points. This position is responsible for hourly duties directed by their Branch Supervisor and site-specific post orders. Fulfilling the position one that requires integrity and work ethic. Each Signal Security Officer will be working by themselves and should possess the ability to sufficiently execute Post Orders without constant monitoring from executive staff.

Key Duties:

  • Monitor Site for Vagrants and Security Threats: Continuously observe the premises to identify and deter vagrants, potential thieves, and individuals attempting to vandalize or trespass on the property.
  • Conduct Regular Foot Patrols: Perform thorough foot patrols of the entire premises every hour, ensuring that all areas are secure. The lightbar on the patrol vehicle should be kept on at all times during patrols to enhance visibility and deter criminal activity.
  • Document Foot Patrols: Write detailed reports after each foot patrol, noting any incidents, observations, or suspicious activity. Reports must be completed and submitted promptly after every hourly patrol.
  • Respond to Incidents: Immediately address any security breaches, confrontations, or criminal activity, following established protocols to ensure the safety of the premises and personnel.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while on duty, ensuring personal safety as well as the safety of the premises.
  • Equipment Check: Regularly inspect and maintain the patrol vehicle, lightbar, and other security equipment to ensure they are in good working order for effective patrols.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports
  • Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to work
  • Possess strong observational skills
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Weekends and overnights are required.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
