Are you an experienced overnight leader who can walk into a store, quickly assess what needs attention, coach the team, solve problems, and get things done?

Qik n EZ is looking for a dependable and confident Overnight Area Supervisor to support our overnight operations across multiple locations. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone comfortable working independently, developing employees, holding teams accountable, and making sound decisions when senior leadership may not be immediately available.

Job Details: 
  • Area: Springfield, IL.
  • Pay Rate: $23.00-$24.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday.
  • Status: Full-time.
  • Hours: between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Night Managers across multiple locations.
  • Visit approximately one assigned store per night to evaluate operations, support the team, and complete assigned priorities.
  • Train newly hired CSRs and Night Managers through hands-on instruction, coaching, observation, and follow-up.
  • Coach Night Managers on leadership, shift management, accountability, operational standards, and problem-solving.
  • Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, productivity, and completion of assigned responsibilities.
  • Respond to unexpected staffing, customer, equipment, technology, and operational situations.
  • Ensure overnight teams are completing cleaning, stocking, food service, cash-handling, and other required shift responsibilities.
  • Complete special projects and assignments accurately and on time.
  • Assist with basic technology projects, including computer upgrades, equipment changes, system updates, and other store technology initiatives.
  • Communicate store conditions, employee performance concerns, training progress, completed projects, and unresolved issues to management.
  • Adjust your scheduled location when another store has a more urgent business need.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A strong hands-on trainer who can effectively teach and develop new employees and Night Managers.
  • Comfortable giving direction, correcting performance issues, and holding employees accountable.
  • A practical problem-solver who can assess a situation and determine what needs to happen next.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions with limited overnight supervision.
  • Organized and capable of balancing planned responsibilities with unexpected priorities.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning store technology.
  • Adaptable and willing to change plans when another location needs immediate attention.
  • Able to understand how staffing, customer service, labor, inventory, store conditions, safety, and operational execution affect the overall business.

Qualifications:
  • Proven management experience in retail, food service, or fuel industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach team members effectively.
  • Available to work overnight shifts, including holidays and on-call when needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, personal transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work across multiple locations.
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and 4-panel drug test.
  • Completion of Manager Food Training within 90 days of employment.
