Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Overhead Hoist/Crane Mechanic to join our team in New Castle, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
-Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
-Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
-Replace and repair components including wire rope, brakes, bearings, gears, motors, hooks, wheels, and related crane equipment.
-Perform crane installations, equipment modifications, and field service work as needed.
-Maintain accurate service records and follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of project management experience in hoist systems, crane installations, or industrial construction
* Working knowledge of hoists, overhead cranes, rigging, and material handling equipment
* Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA standards
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and construction software
* Valid driver"s license and willingness to travel to job sites
