    TitleDock Service and Install Technician

    Full Description### About the role

We service and install commercial doors, loading dock equipment, barrier gates, and partition walls for businesses across the region. No two days are the same: one morning it's a high-speed door at a distribution center, the next it's a dock leveler or a Kwik-Wall install.

We hire at three levels (Technician I, Technician II, and Lead Technician), so you come in where your skills are today. As you complete training and certifications, your pay moves up with them. We'll show you exactly what it takes to reach the next level.

We hold one standard above all: find the real cause and fix it permanently. If you're tired of shops that push band-aid fixes and callbacks, you'll fit in here.

    What you'll do

    • Install, service, and repair commercial and residential doors, dock equipment, gates, and partitions

    • Diagnose problems to the root cause and fix them permanently, so customers don't have to call us back

    • Troubleshoot electrical motor controls, relay logic, and PLC-based systems (Lead level; we'll train you toward it)

    • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer service manuals

    • Explain clearly to customers and the office what you found, what it takes to fix, and what you did

    • Drive company service trucks; load, secure, and haul equipment and materials

    • Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and telehandlers

    • Follow our safety program and each customer's site-specific safety rules

    Equipment you'll work on

    • Doors: sectional, rolling steel, high-speed, fire-rated, and specialty doors

    • Operators: commercial and residential door operators

    • Counterbalance systems: torsion spring, extension spring, and counterweight

    • Dock equipment: pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and edge-of-dock levelers; vehicle restraints; dock seals and shelters

    • Partitions: operable walls (Kwik-Wall, Hufcor, and similar)

    • Gates: slide, swing, and arm vehicle barrier gates

    Required at every level

    • A commitment to safety: you follow our safety program and each customer's site-specific requirements

    • Self-motivated; you manage your own work with minimal supervision

    • A professional presence on every job site

    • Clear communication with customers and the office

    • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements

    Working conditions

    • Lift and maneuver heavy components; good physical condition required

    • Work indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather

    • Work at height on lifts and ladders

    • Overtime, weekends, and emergency calls as needed
