Description

Pay Rate: Up to $21.50 per hour

Summary:

  • Duration: Temp to Full-time role
  • Shift: Weekdays 6:00 AM - 02:30 AM [Lunch: 10:45 AM - 11:15 AM]

Responsibilities:

  • Move material to and from workstation by hand, cart, pallet jack, hoist, and crane as required. May be required to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • Disassemble (tear-down) and clean according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and/or test codes.
  • Responsible for processing paperwork pertaining to the disassembly and cleaning.
  • Use of fixtures, press, vice, grinders, wire wheel, pneumatic/hand tools, etc.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, practices, procedures, and established company policies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Possesses strong mechanical skills.
  • Hands-on work assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated experience with mechanical and pneumatic components.
  • Ability to work in conformance with engineering specifications, quality procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to understand work procedures, determine tooling and operation sequence, etc., to establish the most efficient manner of utilizing materials and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals. Able to communicate effectively with coworkers.
  • Able to follow instructions, possess basic comprehension and reading skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a group as a team player.
  • Has the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills immediately.
  • Positive attitude and high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation are required.
  • Over 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience or related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work safely on all tasks related to the job.
