Now we are adding to our services by offering a newly created Outsourced Conference Benefits Officer option.

    The Outsourced Conference Benefits Officer (OCBO) will be responsible for managing a client's Wespath-sponsored benefit programs, services, and communications, and providing consultative services in support of Wespath offerings. The position will be responsible for both day-to-day benefit administration work as well as acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the client plan sponsor helping leaders, clergy, and participants navigate important decisions with confidence.

    What you'll do:

    • Serve as a primary advisor to Annual Conferences, clergy, and participants on benefit programs and services.
    • Manage Wespath benefit administration processes including enrollment, transitions, and retirements.
    • Build strong partnerships with conference leadership, including bishops and finance teams.
    • Deliver education through webinars, consultations, and events.
    • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
    • Ensure compliance, maintain accurate data, and provide insights to support decision-making.

    Outsourced Conference Benefits Officer Compensation and Benefits Include:

    The compensation range for this position is $120,000-$130,00 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

    Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration with a preference for experience with the polity, structure, and governance system of the United Methodist Church.
    • Skilled in basic formatting of Microsoft Office documents and able to analyze data in Excel.
    • Willing and able to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with Wespath Benefits and Systems
