Position Summary

Sievers Equipment Company currently has an opening for an Outside Territory Sales Representative.  This position is responsible for covering the Sievers Equipment Co. territories in the Springfield, IL area.  Included counties are as follows:  Scott, Morgan, Mason, Menard, Sangamon, Christian, Logan, and Macon.

Qualifications

·        At least 2 years of outside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in the equipment sales, rental or automotive industry.

·        Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the equipment industry

·        Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach

·        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·        Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

·        Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite

·        Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Managing an assigned territory by seeking out prospective customers and developing relationships that foster retail sales growth
• Managing and growing current relationships within the assigned territory
• This is an “in-field” position, so time management and call planning are critical to be successful
• Performing tow-and-show demonstrations to showcase our equipment offering, performance and capability
• Having an extensive knowledge of our product range, features and benefits
• Timely and accurate submission of all necessary documents for retail sales activities
• Working trade shows or events to help spread brand awareness and increase our reach with new customers

 Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $30,000 - $40,000 base salary + commission (based on experience)

Schedule:

·        Monday thru Friday 7:30am-5:00pm

·        Saturday Rotation
