Outside Sales Representative

Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Wheatland, PA
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00
Work Model: Remote – offsite
Hours: 40.0 hours per week (scheduled days/times not specified)

Responsibilities

• Present and sell products to prospective and existing customers across the waste, recycling, and scrap markets
• Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and social selling, and convert them into customers
• Research the market to identify prospects, trends, and new business opportunities
• Build and maintain customer relationships through responsive service and support
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas
• Record all sales activity and customer interactions in the CRM
• Coordinate delivery dates with logistics and keep customers informed
• Track regional market trends, competitor activity, and pricing, and report insights to leadership
• Work with production, engineering, and logistics teams to support on-time delivery and product quality

Requirements

• 50% Travel
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, ideally in the waste industry or capital equipment sales
• Solid understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for regional customers
• Ability to provide post-sale support and relay product feedback
• Business or college education, or equivalent sales experience
• Basic accounting or bookkeeping skills
