Job Description: Outside Sales Representative

Location: Norfolk, NE

Job Type: Full-Time 

Position Summary

Aventure is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing a client base throughout Northeast Nebraska by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business accounts for our core services, including credit reporting solutions, accounts receivable management, and debt collection services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively cold-call and conduct face-to-face sales presentations to local and regional businesses
  • Consultative Selling: Analyze prospective clients' current accounts receivable and credit management processes to offer customized service packages.
  • Territory Management: Effectively manage and expand the Northeast Nebraska sales territory through strategic planning, consistent follow-up, and localized networking.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, local economic conditions, and regulations relating to credit reporting and collection compliance
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect statuses, and closed accounts in the company database/CRM system.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of successful outside sales experience is highly preferred. Experience within financial services, insurance, payroll, banking, or collections is a major plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Drive: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding independent sales quotas and targets.
  • Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Northeast Nebraska business community and a professional network in the region is highly advantageous.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic sales-tracking tools.
