  • Salaried role with potential 90-day performance-based raise

Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative maintains excellent client relations and builds sales with our foodservice customers. Cultivates customer satisfaction, account health and growth, presents new and necessary products to market.

The Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To: 

  • Must be a driven sales professional effective at cold-calling and prospecting
  • Hunter mentality with a large emphasis on obtaining new business
  • Must have great time management skills and able to multitask and work well under stress
  • Able to consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals
  • Demonstrates administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs
  • Willing to take extra steps and/or time necessary to ensure follow-through on details
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude at work and is comfortable giving and receiving feedback
  • Demonstrates ability to manage a diverse, high-volume book of business with an emphasis on customer relations and client retention
  • Comfortable maintaining high customer satisfaction and growing new and preexisting industry relationships
  • Actively listen to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to deliver meaningful value within the business relationship
  • Must be professional, punctual, and team-oriented
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Sales/profitability experience is preferred
  • 5 years in the produce/food industry
  • Culinary and/or Nutrition background is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer/Client Focus

  • Technical Capacity
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (does not include marijuana)
  • Must be willing to sign an arbitration agreement
