Let's get something out of the way.

Nobody grows up dreaming about forklifts. You didn't have a poster of a forklift over your bed. We know.

But here's what nobody tells you: the boring industries are where the money actually hides. Every factory, warehouse, and loading dock around here runs on forklifts. When one breaks, a business panics. We show up fast and fix it. They love us a little too much for it.

We just need someone to go shake their hands first. That's you. Probably.

THE JOB, 

You hunt fleets. We hand you a named list of facilities running 10 to 30 forklifts, you get in the door, walk their fleet, and bring them in. Then comes the best part: you hand the wrenches to our service crew and stay the person the customer trusts. You're the face. They turn the bolts. Everybody's happy.

Your territory is central Indiana, all of it within about two hours of Crawfordsville. You're in the field 3 to 4 days a week, and you're home every night. No overnight travel.

Land a new customer and you get a cut of everything they spend with us, repairs, parts, PMs, memberships, all of it: 10% their first year, 5% their second, then 2% for as long as you're the one taking care of them. Keep showing up and that account keeps paying you, years after you signed it. Stop showing up and it goes back to the house. Fair both directions.

Then, at any customer, house account or not: 10% of the gross profit on every forklift you sell, used or new, $400 minimum, and 10% of any rental you sell for as long as it's on rent.

No games with house accounts. No territory shrinking after your best year. We review the plan with you at 6 months, 12 months, and every year after that, and you should expect it to move as the business grows. We point the pay at whatever we're pushing, and we're working on adding a new equipment line right now, which will get its own number in your plan when it lands. One rule in writing: changes only apply going forward, and we will never take anything away from accounts you've already opened. We'll walk you through the actual calculator in the interview, with real customer numbers in it.

THE MONEY PART, SINCE YOU SCROLLED STRAIGHT HERE 

$50,000 real base salary. Never a draw, never a step down. Uncapped commission on top. Hit the numbers and a realistic first year is about $90,000, and your first 12 months carry a guaranteed floor of $4,700 a month ($28,200), so the ramp won't starve you. Year two on that same math is about $145,000, and it keeps compounding as your book grows. Beat the close rates and it's more.

Plus a company truck, a monthly health stipend sized to your family situation ($450 single / $900 family) toward the plan you pick, starting day one, phone and laptop, a $500 a year boot and uniform allowance, paid training, a SIMPLE IRA with a 3% company match, and 3 weeks vacation.
