Outside Sales Representative — Construction

Ramley Home Solutions | MichiganPay: Base + commission, based on experienceSchedule: Weekdays required; approximately one Saturday per month

Ramley Home Solutions is looking for an Outside Sales Representative with sales experience and a working knowledge of residential construction or home improvement.

You'll meet with homeowners, visit job sites, understand their project needs, prepare quotes, and guide customers through the sales process. Company-generated leads and marketing support are provided, with opportunities to develop your own leads and referral relationships as well.

We're looking for someone who communicates well, builds trust with customers, stays organized, and takes ownership of their results.

What You'll Do

• Respond to leads and schedule appointments

• Meet homeowners and visit job sites

• Understand project needs and recommend appropriate solutions

• Prepare and present quotes using an iPad and company estimating technology

• Follow up with customers and manage opportunities through the sales process

• Build customer relationships and generate referrals

• Develop additional business through networking and prospecting

• Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the customer experience

What We're Looking For

• Experience with residential construction or home improvement

• Strong communication and customer relationship skills

• Comfortable with in-person sales and job-site visits

• Organized, self-motivated, and accountable

• Comfortable learning and using technology for estimating and quoting

Preferred: Experience selling roofing, decks, remodeling, or other residential construction services; estimating or quoting experience; consultative sales experience; or an existing referral/networking base.
