R3 Roofing & Exteriors is building our next team of Outside Sales Representatives for our January 2027 Training Class!

WHAT DOES AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE I DO?

As an Outside Sales Representative I, also known as a Setter, you'll work in residential neighborhoods throughout the Des Moines metro and surrounding communities.

Your primary responsibility is to connect with homeowners, introduce R3's services, and offer complimentary property inspections.

You do not climb roofs, conduct inspections, or assess storm damage.

Once a homeowner agrees to an inspection, you'll connect them with an experienced Outside Sales Representative II (Closer), who handles the inspection and next steps.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Engage with homeowners through door-to-door outreach.
• Offer complimentary property inspections and generate qualified leads.
• Communicate with your assigned Closer to ensure smooth customer handoffs.
• Build relationships and represent R3 professionally.
• Participate in training, coaching, and team development.
• Develop valuable sales and communication skills.

Previous roofing or sales experience is not required.

$500 NEW HIRE BONUS

New team members are eligible for a $500 New Hire Bonus after successfully completing 90 days with R3 Roofing & Exteriors, provided they are actively working with R3 and in good standing at the time of payment.

IMPORTANT POSITION DETAILS

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

Independent contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations and are not eligible for company-sponsored employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, or retirement benefits.

All offers are contingent upon successfully completing a background check.
