They serve customers worldwide and is experiencing continued growth and expansion.
Position Overview
Seeking a motivated Regional Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Delaware. This is a field-based role focused on developing new business while expanding relationships within an existing customer base.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling technical products into highly regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceutical, medical device, food & beverage, cleanroom, or industrial manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established territory with approximately 50 existing customer accounts
- Develop new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, medical device, food production, and other controlled environments
- Conduct on-site customer visits, facility walkthroughs, and product demonstrations
- Build relationships with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Facilities, and Manufacturing leaders
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, referrals, and existing customer relationships
- Partner with internal teams to deliver solutions and support customer implementation
- Travel throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience required
- Experience selling technical products, industrial products, consumables, equipment, or solutions into manufacturing environments
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical, medical device, food processing, cleanroom, controlled environments, or related industries strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, territory-based role
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000-$100,000
- commission (Year 1 target earnings approximately $130K+)
