Woodland Builders.
Location: Hanover, MA.
Job Type: Full-time.
Schedule: Hybrid, minimum 40 hours per week with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend client meetings.
Woodland Builders is an award-winning Design/Build remodeling company serving homeowners throughout the South Shore of Massachusetts. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling, including whole home renovations, home additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and other custom projects.
We're a team that values quality craftsmanship, strong communication, creative problem-solving, and an exceptional client experience. For someone who enjoys selling meaningful, high-value projects and seeing those projects come to life, Woodland offers an opportunity to become an important part of the company's continued growth.
Base salary: $60,000 per year plus commission.
Year 1 sales target: Approximately $1 million to $1.5 million in signed remodeling contracts.
Expected Year 1 total compensation: Approximately $90,000 to $127,000 at target performance.
Expected Year 2+ total compensation: Approximately $125,000 to $175,000+ as the salesperson develops a mature pipeline.
Commission is tied to signed remodeling contract value, with additional incentive opportunity based on gross profit performance.
Because of the longer sales cycle, Woodland offers an optional ramp plan that provides greater income stability while a new salesperson builds their pipeline. Under this option, the employee receives a higher base without commission during the initial ramp period and may transition to the standard base plus commission plan as their pipeline develops. Full details will be discussed during the interview process.
Actual total compensation will depend on individual sales results and gross profit performance and is not guaranteed.

Woodland Builders is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Consultant to guide homeowners through the process of planning and purchasing residential Design/Build remodeling projects.
Internally, we call this position a Project Developer. This is a full-cycle sales position where you will own opportunities from the initial discovery call through the home consultation, project development agreement, design process, proposal, and signed remodeling contract.
Our typical sales cycle is approximately 8 to 12 weeks and can sometimes be longer, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys consultative selling, building relationships, and helping homeowners make thoughtful decisions about significant investments in their homes.
Own assigned leads and manage each opportunity through the full sales process from discovery call to signed Remodeling Agreement.
Conduct discovery calls and in-home consultations to understand the client's goals, project scope, timing, needs, and budget.
Explain Woodland's Design/Build process and qualify potential projects based on scope, budget, timing, and overall fit.
Develop and present Project Development Agreements and guide qualified homeowners into the design phase.
Work closely with clients, designers, and the Woodland team as concepts, project scope, and details are developed.
Discuss preliminary budgets and project costs with clients while working with Woodland's estimating and production resources on more technical estimates.
Present Remodeling Agreements, answer client questions, work through objections, and close qualified opportunities.
Maintain accurate follow-up, notes, and pipeline information throughout the sales process.
Help transition sold projects into Operations and remain involved through turnover, preconstruction, project completion, and client follow-up.
Build additional opportunities through networking, referrals, past clients, and strong ongoing customer relationships.
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys the sales process and knows how to build trust over a longer sales cycle. You understand residential construction or remodeling, are comfortable discussing large project budgets, and know how to turn relationships into signed contracts. If you're motivated by building a strong pipeline, delivering a great client experience, and selling profitable projects, we'd like to hear from you.
