The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow a well-established heavy-duty truck and fleet service operation throughout the Austin and San Antonio markets.
This is a true outside sales and business development position. You will be responsible for developing relationships with fleet operators and commercial truck customers, identifying new business opportunities, and bringing new accounts into the organization.
We are especially interested in candidates who understand the heavy-duty truck industry and have experience selling truck service, fleet maintenance, parts, equipment, or other products and services to commercial customers.

What You'll Be Selling
You will develop business with commercial fleets and companies that depend on keeping their trucks and equipment on the road.
Services include:
- Heavy-duty truck repair
- Mobile diesel repair
- Fleet maintenance programs
- Preventative maintenance
- Diesel engine diagnostics and repair
- Electrical diagnostics
- Aftertreatment and emissions repairs
- Brake and suspension work
- Welding and fabrication
- In-shop truck repair
- Ongoing fleet service and maintenance support
This is about more than one-time sales. The goal is to develop long-term, recurring relationships with commercial fleets that need a dependable service and maintenance partner.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospect and develop new commercial fleet and heavy-duty truck accounts
- Identify businesses operating Class 6–8 trucks and commercial fleets
- Conduct cold calls, field visits, networking, and other business development activities
- Meet with fleet managers, maintenance managers, owners, operations leaders, and other decision-makers
- Present mobile repair, preventative maintenance, and fleet service solutions
- Understand customer fleet operations and identify opportunities to reduce downtime
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Consistently follow up with leads and active opportunities
- Prepare proposals and service solutions based on customer needs
- Negotiate and close new business
- Develop long-term relationships with existing accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand services within current customers
- Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information within CRM software
- Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure customer expectations are met
What We're Looking For
- Previous outside sales, territory sales, account management, or business development experience
- Heavy-duty truck, diesel repair, commercial fleet, truck parts, dealership, transportation, or equipment industry experience strongly preferred
- Existing relationships within the Austin or San Antonio commercial truck market are a major advantage
- Understanding of fleet maintenance and heavy-duty truck service
- Proven ability to prospect and generate new business
- Comfortable cold calling and visiting prospective customers in person
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with fleet managers, technicians, owners, and senior decision-makers
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable independently managing a large sales territory
- Experience with CRM or sales management software
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
- Willing and able to travel throughout the Austin–San Antonio territory
