Since 1986, Lucky’s Trailer Sales and Dimmick Group Peterbilt has been the leading sales, supply, and repair company in the Northeast!  With locations in over 10 states our team is looking for the member to join our ever-expanding team.  We are looking for a Outside Parts Sales Rep,  you will be part of the team that  sells the parts that help keep the trucks and trailers on the road that are fueling the American economy.

As part of Lucky’s Trailer and Truck Centers & Dimmick Group Peterbilt you will be tasked with:
 
Essential Duties:
  • Visits assigned customers within the assigned sales/marketing territory.
  • Prospects for new customers within assigned sales/marketing territory, or otherwise instructed to do so.
  • Communicate parts orders to counterperson. Advises whether status is stock or emergency based on customer needs.
  • Obtains Parts Manager’s approval for any special pricing.
  • Advises counterperson on delivery and/or shipping instructions.
  • Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
  • Turns in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports in the allotted time.
  • Update customer records to reflect changes to customer names, addresses, etc.
  • Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
  • Responsible for basic maintenance of the vehicle including filling tank with gas, checking oil, cleanliness of vehicle, and assuring all required inspections are performed
Certificates, Experience, & Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge with use of MS Office and Outlook, along with Software programs such as CDK.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy duty trucks and repairs is preferred.
  • Customer service background both in person and phone skills preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required. Must meet company insurability standards.
