Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and follow-up appointments with patients to assess their nutritional needs.
Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans to address medical conditions, weight management, and general wellness goals.
Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to care plans, and provide ongoing support.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay up to date with current nutrition science and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Participate in team meetings, health fairs, and educational seminars as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status, with a current state license .
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate patients.
Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
Experience in outpatient nutrition counseling or clinical nutrition.
