    PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT)
    Summary:
    Performs patient-centered evaluations and treatments that meet all professional, legal, and regulatory standards.
    Essential Duties:
    • Evaluation: Review physician referrals and medical records; perform comprehensive evaluations of strength, motor development, and functional capacity.
    • Plan of Care: Develop and revise individualized treatment plans to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to seamlessly integrate therapy into the patient’s overall healthcare plan.
    • Supervision: Oversee physical therapist assistants, students, and unlicensed personnel in accordance with state and federal regulations.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic patient records.
    • Education: Guide patients and caregivers on post-operative recovery, specific physician protocols, and home exercise programs.
    Qualifications:
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
    • Current or pending Ohio State Physical Therapist licensure.
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire).
    • Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting is preferred.
    PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)
    Summary:
    Performs patient-centered treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to the established plan of care.
    Essential Duties:
    • Treatment: Administer physical therapy treatments to restore function and relieve pain following the supervising PT’s plan of care.
    • Communication: Regularly confer with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient progress and outcomes.
    • Documentation: Complete accurate clinical documentation within designated facility timeframes.
    • Education: Instruct patients and families on specialized treatment plans, safety techniques, and home exercise programs.
    • Professionalism: Maintain scheduling flexibility and actively participate in facility training, staff meetings, and continuing education.
    Qualifications:
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Active Ohio State PTA licensure.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting is preferred.
    Schedule & Benefits
