Outpatient Pediatrician – Southern Illinois (St. Louis Metro Area)
A full-time, permanent Outpatient Pediatrician opportunity is available with a Community Health Center serving diverse and underserved communities across Southern Illinois. Compensation ranges from $200,000 – $250,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) match, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.

The Position
Our client is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered pediatric care to a diverse patient population in a community health setting. This role includes direct patient care, preventive care services, chronic disease management, and active participation in community health initiatives.
Salary and Benefits
- $200,000 – $250,000 Salary

Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
- 2+ years of experience as a Pediatrician preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine including acute and chronic condition management, disease prevention, and health promotion
- Cultural competency to deliver care across diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Responsibilities
- Monday – Friday schedule, day shift — no nights, no weekends
- Provide direct clinical care to a diverse pediatric patient panel in an outpatient clinic
- Perform comprehensive health assessments including physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized treatment planning
- Prescribe medications, administer immunizations, and manage ongoing care for acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Deliver preventive care services including well-child visits, health screenings, and chronic disease management
- Collaborate with specialists, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and nurses to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
