We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join a collaborative care team in Wabash, Indiana. You'll work in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a diverse orthopedic caseload — sports injuries, post-operative cases, joint replacements, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions — with close collaboration with referring physicians and orthopedic surgeons.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients using clinical tests, medical history, and observation to develop individualized treatment plans
Design and implement interventions for joint replacements, sports injuries, sprains/strains, post-surgical rehab, work-related injuries, and balance disorders
Apply evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as appropriate
Collaborate closely with referring physicians and orthopedic surgeons to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with professional and legal standards
Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current and valid Indiana PT license (or eligible)
CPR certification
Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
1+ year of outpatient orthopedic PT experience (new grads with strong clinical rotations considered)
Specialty certification or training: McKenzie, Maitland, Dry Needling, or Graston
Familiarity with EMR systems
Schedule
