Outpatient Cardiology and Interventional Radiology RN - Contract

Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move NY RN License, BLS, ACLS Required Minimum 2-years patient care experience w/ recent experience in arrhythmia recognition and cardiology Required . Recent Experience: Arrhythmia recognition, cardiology, moderate sedation, treadmill/ETT, and nuclear stress testing.

Title: RN – Outpatient Cardiology
Duration: 19 weeks
Location: 196 North St, Geneva, NY 14456
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8s-Hour 40hours/week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5×8s)

• Nights: None

• Weekends: None

• Call: None

• Education: RN graduate required; BSN preferred

• Experience: 2 years RN patient-care experience required

• Recent Experience: Arrhythmia recognition, cardiology, moderate sedation, treadmill/ETT, and nuclear stress testing

• Preferred: ICU or Cardiology nursing experience; Meditech experience

• Certifications: BLS & ACLS — AHA or RQI only

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform treadmill/ETT and nuclear stress testing

  • Conduct initial patient interviews and preliminary assessment of test data

  • Prepare studies for physician interpretation

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures

  • Recognize and interpret arrhythmias

  • Provide patient/family education

  • Assist with stress-echo, tilt-table, and other special procedures

  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations per protocol

  • Perform conscious/moderate sedation as needed

  • Collaborate with physicians and cardiac rehab/cardiology leadership to ensure accurate and timely results
