This position is the hub of our Outpatient Behavioral Health Program.

Every day you will help:

• Connect people with behavioral health services.
• Coordinate referrals and client intakes.
• Support clinicians so they can focus on client care.
• Help individuals navigate insurance and appointments.
• Ensure clients receive timely access to services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records.
• Create a welcoming, professional experience for every client.

What You'll Do

As an Outpatient Behavioral Health Support Staff / QMHA, you will:

• Coordinate referrals, intakes, screenings, and appointments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, and community partners.
• Support behavioral health, addiction, crisis, and forensic programs.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in our Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with service authorizations.
• Maintain confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Work closely with clinicians, peer support staff, prescribers, hospitals, courts, and community partners.
• Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every individual seeking services.

Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who:

• Meet the qualifications for a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).
• Have experience in behavioral health, social services, healthcare, or a related field.
• Enjoy working with people.
• Are comfortable using electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office.
• Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

The position requires meeting Oregon's QMHA definition, proficiency with EHR/computer systems, and the ability to work within behavioral health documentation and confidentiality requirements.
