Location: North Canton, OH | Pay: $16.30 | Type: Hourly, Full-Time

About the Job
Join us in making a meaningful impact in North Canton, Ohio! Step up and lead the team. As an outlet store team leader, you'll help the store manager and assistant manager run the store day to day. You'll oversee the collection and processing of donated goods, and you'll run the store when the managers aren't on shift. Responsibilities

  • Run daily store operations, supervise donation processing and pricing, and keep the sales floor attractive through effective merchandising
  • Ring up purchases, handle cash and make change, and complete the cash count and daily balance sheet
  • Handle customer disputes in a friendly, helpful way, and hand every donor a receipt
  • Help your team turn 220 tables daily and hold them accountable for proper salvage sorting
  • Process quality donations quickly by sorting, tagging, testing, cleaning, and preparing items for sale
  • Oversee quality control and inventory
  • Help supervise and train new team members, and open or close the store in the supervisor's absence
  • Lead your team in following safety policies and model safe work habits
  • Report operations, personnel, mission and services, and safety statistics accurately and on time
  • End every donor interaction with "You changed a life today, Thank you!"

Qualifications

  • Six or more months of retail sales experience preferred, or demonstrated potential for management
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Knowledge of merchandise such as name brand, antiques, vintage, and collectibles
  • Experience with computers preferred
  • First aid and CPR certification required (can get certified after hire)
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
