    Outage Supervisor
    Our firm is actively seeking a seasoned Outage Supervisor for one of our premier clients in the nuclear energy sector. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for overseeing all personnel, processes, and planning activities related to the preparation and execution of both refueling and forced outages at a commercial nuclear facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of outage strategies, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and performance standards.

    • Build and manage a dedicated outage team responsible for all aspects of outage planning and execution.

    • Create and maintain pre-outage milestones, define outage scope, and oversee schedule development.

    • Supervise the outage planning function and ensure accurate schedule forecasting and milestone adherence.

    • Establish performance indicators based on industry benchmarks and best practices.

    • Regularly communicate outage readiness and execution status to senior plant leadership.

    • Implement a robust lessons-learned process to capture and apply improvements to future outages.

    • Prepare final outage reports and facilitate post-outage critiques.

    • Engage in ongoing benchmarking to improve performance and outcomes.

    • Participate in the sites Emergency Response Organization (ERO) as required.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors or technical degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; or a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license.

    • 10+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, with at least 5 years in work control, outage planning/management, maintenance, operations, engineering, or project management.

    • Demonstrated experience in team supervision and leadership.

    • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard scheduling software.

    • A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving innovation.
