Job Title: Outage Manager
Job Description
The Outage Manager oversees the planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout of major outages at a large, integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power generation facility. This role coordinates multiple contractors and concurrent project work within the plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely completion of maintenance, capital, and construction activities. The Outage Manager monitors progress, manages risks and schedule conflicts, and provides clear communication to stakeholders throughout the outage lifecycle.

Work Environment
This role is fully on-site at a 618-megawatt integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power plant, recognized as one of the cleanest and most efficient coal-fired power facilities in the world. The plant uses state-of-the-art equipment and technology and is a unique facility with no other plant of its kind in the world. The Outage Manager initially supports outage planning and scheduling, typically working approximately 40-50 hours per week. During active outage execution, the role requires extended hours, with an expectation of approximately 60-70 hours per week to support critical outage activities. The environment is industrial and power-generation focused, with close collaboration across operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams. Consultants in this role receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day), two weeks of paid time off, and a weekly per diem of $178 per day for seven days.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
