OT - Occupational Therapist

Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist

This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00.

The Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing evaluations and developing treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient. You will work closely with a team of therapists and nurses to provide comprehensive care. A minimum of two weekend shifts within a four-week period is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their therapy needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans focusing on rehabilitation goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions and oversee patient progress.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation practices.
• Previous experience in an inpatient rehab setting is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
