Akkodis is seeking an OT Field Specialist for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate has proven ability to collaborate with Operations and IT teams while independently managing OT support, system performance, and incident resolution in plant environments.
Rate Range: $45/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
OT Field Specialist Job Responsibilities include:
Support and maintain OT systems, networks, and infrastructure across gas plants and compressor stations.
Act as the primary OT support resource, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure anomalies.
Assist with the deployment, configuration, and integration of OT network and infrastructure components.
Collaborate with Operations, Project Managers, OT NOC, and Corporate IT teams to ensure secure and reliable operations.
Participate in disaster recovery testing, system validation, process improvements, and documentation of support activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting Operational Technology (OT), IT infrastructure, networking, or industrial control systems.
Hands-on experience supporting OT environments within Oil & Gas, Midstream, Manufacturing, Utilities, Petrochemical, or other industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of network administration, infrastructure support, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
