    Job Description:

    A full-time opportunity is available for an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstructive procedures. This position offers the chance to practice within a high-volume surgical program supported by a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers and a well-established trauma service. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a Level II Trauma Center environment, along with access to modern facilities and technology.

    Shift / Schedule:

    • Full-time position
    • Call schedule: 1:5 rotation, including trauma call

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures with a focus on adult reconstruction and joint replacement
    • Provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Participate in trauma call coverage as part of a rotating schedule
    • Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a 1:1 care model
    • Utilize dedicated operating room block time for surgical cases
    • Engage with an established referral network to support patient volume
    • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
    • Contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered care environment
    • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including orthopedic trauma specialists and support staff

    Requirements:

    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
    • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction (preferred, not required)
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
    • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
    • DEA certification
    • Open to both experienced surgeons and recent fellowship-trained candidates
