Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS Certification
- Orthopedic Nurse Certification
- Registered Nursing License
- Required Education: -Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Required Certifications & Licensure: -Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. AS in nursing
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse in the State of California required.
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards.
- Orthopedic Nurse Certification from Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board or other relevant specialty certification.
Mandatory Experience:
- Previous program development and implementation experience preferred with a minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Recent experience in orthopedics preferred. Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements
- Recent experience in orthopedics.
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Epic Experience Required: Minimum of six (6) - twelve (12) months within the past year.
- Previous program development and implementation experience with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication both written and oral, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively utilize equipment and software, i.e., Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, physicians, co-workers and the community.
- Strong collaborative work style. Preferred Skills &
- Recent experience in orthopedics.
