About the Role:Community Medical Wellness PC is seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Wrist Surgery to join our growing, fast-paced pain management practice.
We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated physician who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our established team of medical professionals.
Responsibilities:- Perform surgical and non-surgical treatment of hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions and injuries
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with fractures, tendon injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and congenital conditions
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records and documentation
- Stay current with advances in orthopedic surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices
- Participate in patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations
Requirements:- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
- Fellowship training in Hand & Wrist Surgery strongly preferred
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Valid New York State medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience performing hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgical procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
