    Orthopedic Hand Surgeon – Lafayette, LA

    • Location: Lafayette, LA
    • Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
    • End Date/Duration: Permanent position
    • Shift: 2-3 days in OR per week, balanced schedule
    • Hours/week: 8-40 hours (based on case volume)
    • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
    • License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
    • Experience: All levels considered; surgical experience preferred

    What You’ll Do
    • Perform orthopedic hand surgeries utilizing advanced technology, including microscopes
    • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in a high-volume environment
    • Collaborate with a team of physician assistants and support staff
    • Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents
    • Participate in multidisciplinary patient management
    • Maintain patient documentation and follow-up procedures
    • Support continuous quality improvement and best practice initiatives


    What You Need
    • Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana; Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
    • Experience or interest in hand surgery preferred but not mandatory
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional development
