Orthopedic Physician Assistant – Outpatient Only

Sherman Oaks / Encino /Tarzana area

Are you an ambitious Physician Assistant looking for a unique opportunity to practice advanced orthopedic and regenerative medicine in a modern outpatient setting?

\n

Sohail Shayfer, MD, Inc. is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our growing orthopedic and regenerative medicine practice. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity conditions while gaining experience in cutting-edge regenerative and longevity therapies.

Unlike many orthopedic PA positions, this role is entirely office-based. There is no hospital rounding, no operating room responsibilities, and no first-assist duties.

Our state-of-the-art facility provides comprehensive orthopedic care ranging from traditional treatments and surgical management to advanced regenerative therapies including PRP, ozone therapy, shockwave therapy, biologic treatments, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other innovative approaches designed to optimize healing and performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a PA who enjoys patient interaction, procedural medicine, and learning advanced treatment strategies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage orthopedic patients in an outpatient setting
  • \n
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • \n
  • Perform office-based procedures and injections
  • \n
  • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses and treatment options
  • \n
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
  • \n
  • Participate in the delivery of regenerative medicine therapies
  • \n

Qualifications

  • \n
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • \n
  • Active California Physician Assistant license
  • \n
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • \n
  • Orthopedic experience preferred but not required
  • \n
  • Interest in musculoskeletal medicine, biologics, and regenerative therapies
  • \n
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • \n
