This Orthopaedic Office Receptionist position will be expected to cross train as an office tech. The department depends on the front office receptionist for efficient, smooth operation of patient flow and optimal patient experience. The receptionist will be responsible to all intake information, patient demographics, insurance validation, and follow-up scheduling and entering information into the medical record. Steady, frequent phone calls from patients, families, physicians, and referral specialists need prompt attention, kindness, and confidence. The receptionist will communicate frequently with clinical staff and physicians regarding patient needs. Receptionists may circulate positions from greeter, to check-in, to check-out, and may be required to rotate to satellite offices.
