Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans for patients with dental and jaw alignment issues.
- Design and implement treatment plans using braces, clear aligners systems.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust appliances, and ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, procedures, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient records using digital practice management systems.
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontics and participate in continuing education and professional training.
- Follow all applicable dental regulations, infection-control protocols, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility preferred.
- Active South Carolina dental license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Proficiency with digital orthodontic tools and imaging technology.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with clear aligner systems.
- Knowledge of 3D printing and digital orthodontic workflows.
- Familiarity with digital imaging and orthodontic technology such as iTero and Pan Ceth
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

- Responsible for providing and delivering quality dental care to our patients.
- Create orthodontic dental treatment plans.
- Ensure treatment plan is reviewed with each family and receive informed consents for treatments services.
- Adhere to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations, HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to clinical support staff in all areas of patient treatment.
- Consistently portray a positive working attitude that fosters a pleasant work environment.
