Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

Hanis and Berriche Orthodontics is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist. 

How You’ll Make Us Better:

• Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow

• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes

• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist

• Assist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flow

• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications

• Educate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols

• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events

• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols

• Build rapport and establish trust with patients

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients and coworkers

• Safely and effectively use hand tools

• Prioritize patient care, manage full schedules, and effectively multitask

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances

• Complete full patient records, including Invisalign scanning, patient photography, and i-CAT 3D radiology imaging

• Take dental impressions and fabricate orthodontic retainers

Required Prerequisites for success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum two (3) years of previous Orthodontic experience

• Dental Assistant certification required

• Radiography certification required

• CPR certification required

• Shift Hours: Monday thru Thursday 7:45 am to 5:15 pm, and Alternating Fridays 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (there may be changes to this regular schedule but will be informed well in advance)
