About the Role:Hodson & Meister PA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced orthodontists in a patient-focused environment where you'll play a key role in creating confident, beautiful smiles every day.
Responsibilities:- Assist orthodontists chairside during patient exams, consultations, and orthodontic procedures
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, bands, and archwires
- Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling
Requirements:- Prior experience as an orthodontic assistant
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and appliances
- Dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
