About the Role:Siri C Steinle DMD PC is looking for a motivated and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in Brockton, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthodontist in a patient-focused practice where your skills and dedication to patient care truly make a difference. Scheduled Hours:- 7:30AM - 5:00PM Monday Tuesday Thursday, one hour paid lunch
Responsibilities:- Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
- Place and remove orthodontic brackets, bands, wires, and other appliances under doctor supervision
- Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and impressions/digital scans
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment progress
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment charts
- Schedule follow-up appointments and support front office coordination as needed
Requirements:- Prior orthodontic assisting experience required
- Dental Assistant Certification (Massachusetts) required
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, terminology, and equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-friendly chairside manner
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
