THE OPPORTUNITY
StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a Level II Trauma Center (designation upgrading in 2026) in the Charlotte metro area the only trauma center in York County, South Carolina. This is a hospital-employed position with a focus on inpatient surgical services, state-of-the-art robotic systems, large ORs, and strong ED relationships that keep your surgical schedule full. PRACTICE DETAILS
Full-time hospital-employed position
Primarily inpatient surgical focus with some outpatient care
Level II Trauma Center (designation upgrading in 2026) only trauma center in York County
2 hospital EDs plus freestanding ED
State-of-the-art equipment: robotic surgical systems, large ORs
Strong ED relationships and established referral patterns
Experienced orthopedic team

REQUIREMENTS
MD or DO from accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required
Experienced surgeon preferred
South Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain
