Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO), a well-established and highly respected orthopedic group, is seeking a BE/BC, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our growing practice New Orleans, Louisiana. Join as an associate physician with a guaranteed base salary for two years, a productivity bonus model, and additional call pay!
Practice and Position Highlights
- Established Practice: Founded in 1949, OANO has a long-standing reputation for excellence in orthopedic care.
- Team: Join 6 orthopaedic surgeons, 1 interventional pain medicine physician, and 3 physician assistants.
- Clinical Locations: Two well-equipped clinics in New Orleans and Metairie.
- Call Responsibilities: General orthopaedic call is required and additionally compensated, on a 1:5 schedule.
- Call volume is manageable with low-energy cases such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and distal radius fractures.
- Physician assistants assist with initial ED consults and post-call support.
- Subspecialty Support: Includes arthroscopy, joint replacement, spine, sports medicine, hand, shoulder, trauma, and workers compensation.
- Hospital Affiliations: Touro Hospital, Ochsner Baptist

Education and Experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery
- Eligible for or currently holding a valid, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
