    What will you do: The Lead Medical Coordinator operates at a strategic and supervisory level within the organization, focusing on ensuring that medical operations are aligned and function efficiently. This role is essential for overseeing the (Office of Refugee Resettlement) ORR Medical Coordinators and providing appropriate staff training on medical, dental, and public health topics relevant to pediatric, adolescent, and migrant health. The LMC ensures the integration of health services and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and develops medical protocols to support quality care. The Lead Medical Coordinator coordinates with local medical teams and medical providers to ensure continuity of care. The LMC is responsible for monitoring the overall performance of medical operations.

    • Work schedule is based on program needs.

    Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

    • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher health-related qualification (e.g. Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner)
    • A minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting with demonstrated experience in care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.
    • Experience in medical billing and insurance preferred.
    •  Prior supervisory experience.
    •  Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
