    Position Summary:

    Position Objective:

    The PACE Orientation Specialist - ABAWD provides administrative, instructional, and front desk support to the PACE program to ensure the effective delivery of services and achievement of program goals. This position is responsible for engaging participants through interactive orientations, workshops, assessments, and employment readiness activities while also supporting program operations, attendance tracking, reporting, and site administration.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate daily motivational orientations for newly referred HRA PACE clients by offering in-person and remote services.
    • Administer, score, and document assessment tests in accordance with program requirements. Support with the TABE, SABE & Best Literacy Assessments.
    • Conduct orientation and workshops utilizing prepared curricula and appropriate materials, integrating vocational concepts and professionalism in a classroom setting. Conduct interactive facilitation, allowing for questions, comments and discussion from clients.
    • Support participants in developing work-related skills to prepare for employment, training, alternative engagement activities, and successful participation in the HRA PACE model.
    • Provide front desk coverage, greet participants, respond to inquiries, and ensure efficient participant flow.
    • Maintain participant attendance in WISE, Credible, Zoho and other HRA-approved systems.
    • Enter and track participant timekeeping hours through both electronic and hard-copy documentation.
    • Prepare, review, and close daily site rosters and attendance reports.
    • Complete data entry, filing, copying, scanning, and other administrative tasks to support program operations.
    • Assist management with special projects, reporting, and activities designed to achieve program goals and performance outcomes.
    • Collect and maintain participant documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HRA, funder, and agency requirements.
    • Support communication with participants regarding appointments, workshops, engagement activities, and follow-up services.
    • Collaborate with program staff to coordinate participant engagement, alternative engagement activities, referrals, and service delivery.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma required with at least 3 years related work experience: Associate degree preferred in Human Services, Education, Workforce Development, or a related field.
    • Experience facilitating groups, orientations, workshops, or training sessions.
    • Strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
    • Experience with attendance tracking, case management systems, and virtual meeting platforms preferred.
    • Ability to engage diverse populations and motivate participants toward educational, training, and employment goals.

    This position is full time onsite.

    Salary $45,000
