    Work Schedule
    Monday through Friday. 7.5-hour workday with .5-hour unpaid lunch. Paid for actual time worked; there are no paid vacation or sick days. During NYPA and Canals holidays, the business is closed, and no work is permitted. NYPA requires a hybrid schedule of a minimum of 3 days on-site, up to including fully on-site depending on department requirements.

    CWPO Engagement Requirements
    Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to the Tri-State area and in W2 tax status as an hourly paid employee of Service Provider. Fully remote positions are prohibited. Hybrid schedules are permissible with a minimum of 3 days on-site depending on assignment and can be fully on-site depending on business needs. Remote work privileges can be revoked at any time. NYPA does not provide laptops. Instead, NYPA provides desktops and dedicated workstations which candidates will remote into from their personal equipment on virtual days. If candidate does not have proper equipment, internet connection, or he/she is deemed to not work effectively from home, the hybrid privilege will be revoked. Vendors must disclose foreign national status and all Visas at the time of candidate submission. Additionally, a Benefits Waiver and Ethics Disclosure will be required of the candidate during onboarding.

    Project Overview
    NYPA is looking for a Change Management professional with significant experience managing organizational transformation in operations, ideally within the Utility sector. This contract role will report to NYPA's Enterprise Change Management and Engagement team and will support a complex operational transformation. The selected candidate will partner with project leadership and collaborate with core project team members to plan and execute change management and engagement activities as a critical component of the transformation program. The candidate will need to be strategic-thinking and have a problem-solving mindset, along with the ability to establish connections and build trust by fostering relationships.

    Job Functions & Responsibilities
    Responsibilities:
    " Lead Organizational Change and Engagement workstream from requirements definition through deployment by engaging business stakeholders across the organization.
    " Conduct change impact & benefit assessments, stakeholder interviews, workshops and analyze existing documentation to develop a baseline for the work.
    " Based on assessment, prioritize areas to engage and develop alignment plans (i.e., document operating model decisions and develop associated change and engagement plans). Create and leverage standardized template for department specific alignment plans.
    " Socialize and gain buy-in from leadership and other key stakeholders.
    " Design and deliver fit-for-purpose change management, communications, and training materials (as per alignment plans) including change readiness criteria to inform go live decision.
    " Track change related items, and report/escalate progress, interdependencies, and flag issues and risks.

    Skills
    Required Skills:
    " Robust experience in project management and change methodologies and skills, with proficiency in using project management methods to define, plan, schedule, and manage all aspects of a project.
    " Advanced experience leading successful large scale, complex change projects throughout the lifecycle from initiation through delivery and post-launch to help reinforce new behaviors.
    " Extensive experience leveraging relationships and working effectively across all levels of an organization with internal and external stakeholders.
    " Experience managing projects and driving results in rapid and complex changing work environments.
    " Experience implementing and/or improving shared services function preferred.
    " Experience in Utility sector a plus.

    Education & Certifications
    Required Experience:
    " Degree in Business, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Project Management, Communications or similar; graduate work a plus.
    " 5+ years experience leading large scale, complex organizational transformation projects, programs and/or workstreams.
    " Certification in Change Management, Project Management, or related skillset preferred.
