Job Title: Picker
Location: Winston Salem
Rate: $18/hr
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 2pm-Finish (usually 12+hr shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, scanners, or order sheets
- Locate products throughout the warehouse and verify item numbers, quantities, and descriptions
- Build, stage, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery
- Check products for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with stocking, replenishment, packing, or other warehouse duties as needed
- Meet productivity and accuracy expectations in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or order selection experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using an RF scanner or warehouse picking system
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus, but not required
- Previous food distribution or warehouse experience helpful
Work Environment:
Warehouse/distribution setting. Employees may be required to stand and walk for long periods and work around moving equipment, pallets, and warehouse inventory.
