Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: Guilderland, NY (On-site)
Schedule: 1st Shift

Experience: Previous forklift experience required
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 165 pounds regularly

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Order Selector / Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team in Guilderland, NY area. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on warehouse work and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and helping maintain an organized and productive warehouse environment.

Responsibilities of the Order Selector / Forklift Operator will include:

• Accurately pick, pack, and wrap customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload trucks and select orders from shelving units.
• Safely use manual and powered warehouse equipment.
• Sort and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.
• Follow all safety procedures while completing material handling and warehouse tasks.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the role of Order Selector / Forklift Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Familiarity with units of measure.
• Ability to lift and move up to 165 pounds occasionally.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions and work effectively with management and team members.
