Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Order Selector/Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team near Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and wrapping customer orders, operating a forklift to load/unload trucks, and selecting orders off the shelves. This role requires commitment to safety and efficiency and a proactive approach to keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
 
Responsibilities of the Order Selector/Forklift Operator will include:
  • Accurately pick, pack, and wrap customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to load/unload trucks and select orders from shelving units.
  • Safely use manual and powered warehouse equipment.
  • Sort and organize products in their designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist in general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.
  • Participate in other warehouse tasks as required.


Qualifications of the Order Selector/Forklift Operator:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous forklift experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task.
  • Competence in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and familiarity with units of measure.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 165 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to follow directions and work well with management and team members.
 
Salary: $21/hr.
