Description

  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
  • Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift Start Time: 7:00 AM
  • Shift End Time: 4:30 PM
  • Work Environment: Cold storage facilities with temperatures ranging from –20°C to +5°C; refrigeration or frozen storage areas
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Safely load and unload products in refrigerated environments
    • Inspect goods for damage, correct quantity, and labeling during receiving and dispatch
    • Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
    • Organize and store items in designated cold storage locations
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
    • Follow safety protocols and utilize PPE suitable for cold environments
    • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure timely processing
    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards for perishable items
    • Assist with stock counts, quality checks, and housekeeping duties
    • Client Overview: A logistics provider specializing in cold storage solutions, ensuring safe handling of refrigerated and frozen goods
    • Pre-Hire Checks Needed: Background check and drug test
    • PPE Required: Insulated clothing, gloves, and other cold-weather gear provided
    • Client Pre-Hire Activities: Complete required pre-employment activities set by the client, including background check and drug testing
