Shipping Order Puller
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Order Puller to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately pulling customer orders, preparing shipments, and helping ensure products are ready for nightly truck loading. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pull and prepare customer orders using packing slips.
- Read and interpret packing slips to ensure order accuracy.
- Gather and stage products for nightly truck loading.
- Manually lift, move, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Report damaged materials or any questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and complete orders accurately.
- Work overtime as needed to meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Experience operating a cherry picker is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Work in a warehouse environment with frequent movement throughout the day.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
