Warehouse Picker/Packer (Seasonal Assignment)
Job Description:
We are seeking dependable and motivated Pickers and Packers for an upcoming, short-term seasonal project at our facility in Elwood, IL. This assignment offers steady hours, a competitive pay rate, and is an excellent opportunity to earn extra income over a three-week period.
Assignment Details & Pay:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour
- Project Duration: July 13th - July 31st
- Work Week: Monday - Friday (with potential for additional Saturday work based on business volume)
Critical Schedule Note (Shift Rotation)
Candidates must be available to work both of the following schedules during the assignment:
- Week 1 (July 13th - July 17th): Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Week 2 (July 20th): Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Weeks 2 & 3 (July 21th - July 31st): Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, sort, and pack customer orders for distribution using an RF scanner.
- Shipment Preparation: Securely package and prepare finished products for staging and shipment.
- Efficiency: Maintain a fast, consistent pace to meet daily warehouse production and shipping goals.
- Safety & Upkeep: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
