Forklift Operator / Order Picker
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator / Order Picker to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks while safely and accurately handling warehouse materials and customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Retrieve and put away products from warehouse racking.
- Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments.
- Move materials between storage, staging, and shipping areas.
- Verify products, quantities, and order information.
- Use RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse systems.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all equipment and warehouse safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating sit-down forklift, order picker, and reach truck required.
- Previous warehouse/order picking experience.
- Comfortable working at heights when operating an order picker.
- Ability to handle heavy and bulky materials.
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
